What you’re seeing:

A kinect is looking at a sandbox, it takes in the height of the dirt piles in relation to each other and projects a corresponding landscape to it. When you dig deep, it fills with blue because of water, the deeper it is, the darker the water is. If you stick a hole into a mountain and turn it into a volcano lava starts coming out. It does this all in real time so the landscape changes as you play around with it. It’s like real life minecraft. Awesome? Damn. Straight.

This works because you are forced to conserve and make the most out of your battery. You turn your brightness down as low as possible, you stop listening to music, you stop going on other websites, simply because you can’t. Everything takes up precious battery life. I’m at 31 percent right now, and I’ve already written about 2 pages in 30 minutes.

Good vs. Evil

How do we define good and evil? If I had to guess your definition of good is that it is the opposite of evil. And in these modern times who is truly evil anymore? There are no evil geniuses running around attempting to destroy the world…or so we think. But then, are the people who are evil truly evil? Say that, for example, an Alien comes to Earth. This alien race is so far advanced that to them people are nothing more to them than animals are to us. This alien race then begins to exploit the Earth in order to gain resources because their homeworld has become depleted of resources necessary for them to survive. Are they evil? In our (human) opinion, yes they are evil. This alien race has come out of the sky and has begun to slowly deplete our world of resources seemingly for their own gain. But, let’s look at the alien’s point of view. This alien has come to Earth in order to help out the whole of their race and to them they are doing nothing more than what we are doing when we take resources from our natural environment. Which of these two is truly evil? Perhaps more importantly, is there such a thing as absolute good and evil?

This is something a little different from the normal. Just a bit of food for thought I suppose.
